Hairpin Bridge by Taylor Adams

                                                                                                                                                                                                DNF 56%

This is my second book by Taylor Adams. I was hoping for another 5 stars but sadly it didn't hit the mark & I ended up DNFing at 56%.  I did enjoy the dual perspectives.  I felt like the perspective of Cambry was more gripping than the perspective of her sister Lena.  That's what kept me reading.  The mystery surrounding Cambry's death and what may or may not have led to it was interesting and confusing at times.  Over time it got repetitive the further I got into the book.  Overall, it was just not the book for me therefore I didn't complete it.

It was a home run & an absolute 5 star. This beautiful story between Julie and Sam made me sob uncontrollably.. As Julie mourns the loss of Sam she decides to call his cellphone, just to hear his voice one last time but is shocked when he actually answer his cellphone. Julie & Sam quickly fall back into their routine of talking every day. At some point in time they both realize that this could not continue to go on forever & that it needed to end so they could both move o...

The New Girl vol 1 of elles by Kid Toussain & art by Aveline Stokart

5 star I really liked the way this book tackled the topic of multiple personality disorder. The art style in this graphic novel was stunning it also helped the reader differentiate between all of the different personalities that Elle has throughout this book. There is also a subplot that is a mystery surrounding Elle's family. I can not wait to read the next volume from this series. I am super excited!!!
