Hairpin Bridge by Taylor Adams

                                                                                                                                                                                                DNF 56%

This is my second book by Taylor Adams. I was hoping for another 5 stars but sadly it didn't hit the mark & I ended up DNFing at 56%.  I did enjoy the dual perspectives.  I felt like the perspective of Cambry was more gripping than the perspective of her sister Lena.  That's what kept me reading.  The mystery surrounding Cambry's death and what may or may not have led to it was interesting and confusing at times.  Over time it got repetitive the further I got into the book.  Overall, it was just not the book for me therefore I didn't complete it.

It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey

3 star Let me start by saying this is the first book in a new series by Tessa Bailey. There are two main characters. Piper is the first character we meet. She lives in California and she comes from a rich family. After an unfortunate event, Piper is sent packing to a small town in Westport, Washin...

The Switch by Beth O'Leary Narrated by Alison Steadman; Daisy Edgar-Jones

4 Star I really liked both narrators because they both brought the story to life in their own unique voices. The story was super fun and made me chuckle quite a few times while also having some emotional moments as well. Out of the two main characters in this story my favorite was most definitely Grandma Eileen. I’m saying that I didn’t enjoy Leena but Granny was definitely funnier. I knew where one particular story line was going the moment we met a certain character. Overall I give this book 4 stars.

The New Girl vol 1 of elles by Kid Toussain & art by Aveline Stokart

5 star I really liked the way this book tackled the topic of multiple personality disorder. The art style in this graphic novel was stunning it also helped the reader differentiate between all of the different personalities that Elle has throughout this book. There is also a subplot that is a mystery surrounding Elle's family. I can not wait to read the next volume from this series. I am super excited!!!
