This short story collection was a hit and miss for me. I wished some of the stories were a lot longer and some I wished were a lot shorter. I was introduced to a few new author's that I'm looking forward to reading more from. Here is a list of the stories I enjoyed the most:

Negative Creep by Alvaro Zinos-Amaro
Helluloid by Dayton Ward & Kevin Dilmore
Creature Feature by Gary Jonas
The Devil's Reel by Sean Eads & Joshua Viola
On The Rocks By K. Nicole Davis
Coming Attractions By Stephen Graham Jones

I have given all of the above short stories 4 stars

Tales of Nash by Ann Worthington

5 Star This is the author's debut book. I want to start by saying that I absolutely loved this story immensely. This book had me sitting at the edge of my seat. Due to certain circumstances, that almost all teenagers face these days, Nash's mother had to send him away to live with his grandfather and leave all of his friends and problems behind so he could wipe the slate clean and start all over. Nash had a very difficult time being away from his home and friends. Nash's relationship with his grandfather was very rocky at first but a bond slowly grew between Nash and his grandfather which was unbelievably heartwarming. The relationship that developed between them reminds me of my own relationship with both of my grandfathers. I like how the then/now chapters are both so compelling. Unfortunately, Nash goes through a tragic and heartwrenching experience with his grandfather. This tragic event changes Nash's life forever

I realized that the more I read this book the more confused I became. I really wanted to love this book but I think the author is just not for me.

Chess: book 2 in vampires in wonderland by Candace Robinson & Amber R. Duell

5 star This is the second book in "The Vampires in Wonderland" book series. In this book, we follow Chess, the son of The Queen of Hearts, and Ever, The White Queen and sister of Rav. We also have dual perspectives, like in the first book, which helps us because we are following two very different people. Ever is a good person. She loves and care's about her friends. Chess, on the other hand, is not a nice person & only cares about himself & his mother. I love the way Chess keeps saying sexual innuendos to...
